I took delivery on Tuesday 30th march of a new '10' plate 3 door Astra. I had been fortunate enough to be able to afford to have some extras added - one of which was a 'sight and light pack' - auto lights, windscreen washers and dimmimg rear veiw mirror.
Although I was very precise and careful when ordering I was unable to tset drive a 3 door, so I was advised that the 5 door model was the same.
Unfortunately it is not!!! The light and sight pack sits very low on the windscreen and obscures the veiw. This is different to the 5 door as the winscreens are a different size and at a different angle.
I approached my leasing commpany (9am on weds 31stMarch) who I ordered the car through and they are not interested in helping at all.
I have asked if we could do 1 of the following:
*Replace windscreen amd remove L&S pack
*Have rear veiw mirror removed and replaced with standard mirror
*Swop car for soming else
Have I been unreasonable and do I have to suffer for the next 4 years ducking to see under my RV mirror when at traffic lights and turning left?
