i thought great! a product i loved for free.
however, returning from work this evening i received this email

Dear Lucy,

You recently ordered a bikini from our website. Due to an internal error it was put through the shopping cart as costing zero pounds. We have now rectified the situation so if you still wish to own the bikini you will have to order it through the website again. Thank you.

Best Wishes,

Doc Black Ltd

what are my rights?
this was their mistake, which they have admitted.
and i received a confirmation email.
are they not now obliged to send me this product for the price stated?
I'm sure i remember a story of a woman buying a camera for 99p instead of £99

Hi, ive had this before, i believe (i may be wrong) but legally the company have the right to refuse the sale at any point up until delivery, once you have taken delivery of the item they can do nothing about it, i think it also works in a shop, if an item is o the shelf at £1.00 when it shuold be £100 until the shop has taken the money and handed it over to you they have the right to refuse the sale.
Think of it from the retailers point of view, unless it is specifically marked up as free or on promotion they shouldnt really be expected to sell items at a loss should they?
