Today when it came to fitting our shower enclosure, purchased August 2008 with the correct size tray from the same company it was discovered that the tray was not the right radius and not what we had ordered, therefore the enclosure doesn't fit. As no enclosure exists to fit this radius of tray the retalier has offered to send a replacement tray of the right dimensions however as the tray is fitted, the tiling is done and the floor laid it is going to cost at least £400 in labour. Is the retailer liable for any of these costs? The difference in radius is not noticible until the enclosure is fitted and they were purchased on the same order, supposedly to match. The enclosure is useless without the right tray. Thanks for any advice, Lynne.
