Firstly, hello everyone this is my first post here !
I purchase a media player back in November last year under the assumption that it would support Freeview HD when it was available in my area (I have an email from them confirming that it would be).
I'm based in the North West and technically should be able to receive a few channels on Freeview HD.
Unfortunately, the supplier of the goods has stated (mid April 2010) that the player will not support this and that my options are to get a refund for part of the goods - the tv tuner or wait until a new tuner card is released that will enable me to record Freeview HD. I have had no indication as to a date that the new tuner card will become available.
Both these options; a partial refund or wait until available, are not acceptable to me and I wish to get a full refund based on the goods not being fit for purpose.
I would truly appreciate comments/suggestions anyone may have.
