Toolbar 5 reveals bias?

In December last year Google launched Google Toolbar 5 – a package of new features for toolbar.

The only problem with these useful innovations was that they were only available to Internet Explorer users.

Last week, at a launch in St Petersburg, the package was finally made available to Firefox users in 29 different languages – over nine months on from the original launch.

Google’s tardiness in servicing the ever growing community of Firefox users has opened them up to accusations of favouritism towards Explorer and of marginalising those people who choose, for whatever reason, to avoid the Microsoft Browser.

I personally use firefox because I prefer not to buy into Microsoft’s assumption that they own the internet and, to be honest, I find it hard not to see a sinister undertone in stuff like this that so blatantly favours IE.
