These fake security alerts use to just take you to a fake site to get your password. The latest scam attaches a file for you to download. The file has malware and will install spyware and probably add you to a botnet.

As always, the poor English is a clue e.g. "the accounts is our system" and "completeting all informations".
It is a generic email it does state your account details.
It looks like it comes from PayPal but it is coming from notification@mail.ru - which is obviously not a PayPal company email address.

system. We recently reviewed your account, and we need more information to help How can I Update my account ?
