I currently have an ongoing issue with the repair centre. My Palm Pre was sent there with a faulty earpiece. I could not hear anyone in a phone conversation unless I switched it over to loudspeaker.

Its been there for a couple of weeks then when I check progress online I see a note stating that there is a damaged USB door, this invalidates the warranty and therefore they send me a bill for £100.

I spend over half an hour on the phone shoved from the repair centre to their head office and back again. Eventually I am told to return to the store where the phone was sent from, confirm the phone was not damaged went it was sent to the repair centre. I do this straight away. The guy in store then spends well over half an hour on the phone again back and forth from head office to repair centre.

I am now awaiting an emailed photo of this alleged damage. After seeing various threads throughout the internet about Phones4u and their repair centre, I am anticipating a looming battle.
