Hi guys
I hope some body can help. In May this year I purchased online a Philips pvr
It was riddled with bugs, but there was a firmware coming to fix them. I spoke to my supplier and said I would wait for the update so long as it did not effect my rights. They said ok. The update arrived over 3 months later and did not fix all the problems and made some worse. I asked if I could return it, the supplier said yes. However the replacement would have the same firmware as my faulty model so I enquired into the possibility of an exchange to another brand. My supplier then requested me to return the pvr, with all packaging and in excellent cosmetic condition, which it was. I asked how to return it post or courier. They said courier. The return courier fee was £22.03.
My supplier has replaced the pvr (promised in 3 to 5 days, it has taken 31 days) with a more expensive one and I paid the £33 differrence, only because they had my money and I had no product. My other concern is the courier fee to return the faulty goods.
Is it down to me or should the supplier pay that?
If it is down to them how do I get my money back?
