I recently purchased some bales of shavings for my horse's stable, the offer (advertised in writing ) was buy 4 get 1 free, the shop only had 3 in stock so I agreed to take the 3 bales and collect the other 2 later, I explained at the time it might be up to 2 weeks before I came back, they wrote on my receipt that they owed me 2 bales. When I returned I was told that they didn't have the two bales and weren't stocking them anymore. They offered to give me a refund for 1 bale as they said the other 1 was free! They phoned their other shop to see if they had any, but they did not. I asked to speak to the manager, who was at the other shop, but was told she was busy and they suggested that I drive over there to talk to her. One of the assisitants added that the offer was finished anyway. Does anyone know what my rights are please?
