Very's responsibility or manufacturer?

Hi, I bought an oven from Very.co.uk in December. The advert stated that it should come with 3 shelves, but it arrived with only 1. Very keep telling me it’s their policy to just give me the number of the manufacturer to order replacement parts.

Shouldn’t they have to sort it out with the manufacturer as I’m paying them for the oven, not the manufacturer?

Hi there,
Yes you are correct - as you paid Very, your contract is with Very and nobody else, and it Is down to Very to ensure that everything they sell is correct.

And so you are well within your rights to get Very to sort it out, and it's YOUR choice what you want done : refund / exchange / replacement parts etc,
And any delivery costs will be paid for by Very as it is down to their own fault.
