I would just like to remind any pregnant mothers out there to see if they are eligible for the Sure Start Maternity Grant.
If you are in receipt of Working/Child Tax Credit, Income Support or Oncome-Based Jobseeker's Allowance, then you are more than likely to be eligible.
The maximum amount you will receive is £500 and it is FREE- you do not have to pay it back. It can be used to buy things for your imminent arrival.
I am very miffed that this is not well advertised as it was only a friend telling me about it that I knew it was there!
