So stressed at the mo. I booked a holiday for me and my boyfriend. I stupidly booked the wrong dates and unable to make it.
I booked on the 6/2/11 and its for 17/2/11.
I contacted the company straight away within hours to explain my mistake. firstly they said i could change it, then they said i would have to pay full cost for the holiday and not be refunded for the old holiday.
I then emailed the company who said that i could change the holiday however i would have to pay for the flights missed (which would be £447.90). I said that was fine and asked if i needed to book the same hotel. I was told i didnt. I found a cheaper holiday than the origanal and got back to the company.
I was then told i would have to pay £712 on top of the origanal £1200.
I asked him if he could tell me how he worked that out and to give me the break down to which he said he couldnt.
so basically he wants to charge me a ridiculas amount although he said it would just be the flights.
Please help. I cant afford this much on top of the origanal but the only other thing i can do is miss the holiday altogether and not ger refunded.
