Faulty Samsung from Currys

Bought a 40" lcd TV from Currys in December 2009 also purchasing an extended warranty with the TechGuys. The TV is now with the TechGuys for the third time with a recurring problem. When I enquire Currys/TechGuys about getting a replacement/refund I get conflicting information. I've been told that the TV can be fixed as many times as they see fit (as long as I keep up my warranty i.e. spending more money on a faulty TV), but I've also been told that I can expect a refund/replacement following the third time the fault occrs. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please.
