Re your programme on easter monday re brake fluid leak, You were speaking to a mechanic who was giving advise on choosing a good garage and he stated that he had seen a car which had a leaking brake pipe and he stated that you would lose your brakes because of this leak, I must take him to task becauseall cars have a split or duel hydraulic braking system and YOU WOULD NOT LOSE YOUR BRAKES, All that would happen is that your brake pedal would go down half way and very quickly you would have a low brake fluid level warning light appear on your instrument panel warning you of brake fluid loss, Again I repeat you would not lose your brakes, This is another case of motor trade scaremongering, I've had forty six years working in the motor trade and I'm a fully skilled BMW and Mercedes specialist and I do know that I'm right on this issue and I would like you to retract this statement made by him, Mr Peter Newman, 07850 433293
