Rights of returning private sale caravan?
bought 8wks ago from gumtree, but been found to have a uneconomical viable damp problem, we cant use it it trade it in or sell it on, we want previous owners to purchase it back as the damp problem must have been pre-existing at the point of sale. damp readings of 90%,no smells were evident.Van was last serviced in 2003 but not by them,we had it serviced by reg caravan engineer was advertised as immaculate on gumtree
we have contacted the previous owner and are awaiting there response to repurchase.
any legal advice gratefully received.
