Am I still Liable????

Hi, I have just received a letter from a company I purchased a mattress from in february, there seems to have been a banking error on their side and the payment had not been collected, I am now short of funds on my card and they are going to collect it, am I still liable even if its not my fault????

tamster01, you agreed to purchase the mattress but you have yet to pay for it whatever the reason. You are still liable to pay without a doubt. It was a mistake by the company but mistakes are accounted for in contract law.
