Hi,

Basically, on the 16th of January (2011) I bought two 10 inch E-touch Elonex tablets - £149.99 each from Toys'R'Us, one for myself and one for my mum.

Since buying, we have used them only a handful of times, they're in all the original packaging, still with the screen protectors. I've been trying for months to update the software and have spoken to Elonex for troubleshooting but had no such luck. One won't even turn on now and the other keeps freezing and turning itself off every two minutes.

We still have the receipt and wondered if we have any rights to any sort of refund/exchange/store credit.

Thanks, Jodi.

From what you say these are faulty goods, in which case you are entitled to a full refund. Because you bought them over six months ago the burden of proof that they don't work is on you i.e. you have to demonstrate that it does not work properly. I would be surprised if Toys R Us do not co-operate, but if the shop won't help put it in writing to their customer service department.
