Hi,

A Colleague of mine took out a loan, with the rather extortionate interest rate, and I decided to read the contract to get the 'ins and outs' of it.

My understanding is, that with that Contract in Law, they are only authorised to take payments from cards that you've authorised with the company exclusively. Therefore, if they take the payments from card details that you have not provided, then they either
a) refund any amounts they've taken
b) cancel the agreement
If you were to opt to (b) you're best off contacted a solicitor to discuss arrangements, or contact your local CAB office.

Hope this helps,

Mick

these people are just sharks after sending out a application i got a email saying all is ok just need a debit card so they could take out £1 to verify and the funds would be deposited straight away they ended up taking £2 followed by a email telling me it was unsucsessfull now £2 is not a lot but but to say you are accepted and then no after they have taken the money shows a distrustfull company however after reading the first thread i am glad this has happend and hope you can sort your problem out

I wish I had come here and started reading these yesterday lol. I applied for a loan.....Congratulations... this was yesterday, today I call them after they send me a text saying I have the loan they just need to verify my card £1, well like below £1 went then 10 time 10p, so £2.00, I was online on my bank at the time and i watched it go down 10p then 10p more etc etc. 6 hours later, i get a text asking for more information my bank statements and a copy of the front of my card, so i send it in, 2 mins later UNSUCCESSFUL.

After reading all the post on this site about them I am glad they declined it.

My advice stear clear and cancel your cards cos i have read elsewhere on hear that 1 month later they are stinging people for £100's when they never even got a loan. Just got off the phone to Santander who have cancelled my card and are sending a new one.

Hi There,

My Husband had loan from this company quite a while ago but today they have taken all his wages out of his account roughly £400, we have called the bank and they gave us the number for the company but it is a dead line, I was wondering if anyone has a number for them, we are desperate.

Thanks

These people took a £1200.00 out of my account yesterday, I have not had any dealings with them! I did contact them to ask where did they get my details from, the reply I got it was passed to them by a third party as I had a loan with them. When I asked when the loan was taken out they said 2010. I wasn’t even living in the UK in 2010 they say my name and surname matched a previous loan. So why do I have to pay for someone’s debt who has the same name as me? I have spoken to my bank HSBC who will take the matter up. I just feel how can people just take payments like that. I have written to Downing street and made a complaint to OFT lets see if anything happens but the bank will refund the money and claim back from them.

Anyone else have trouble with them?
