I misread this! I thought Doctors had rejected Mr Browns organs initially! "Who'd want this brain? Gordon! Come on!"

While I can understand why it will be rejected, I do understand the need for donors too. I do feel the card system needs to be far more proactive in getting people to join up. It seems somewhat pointless to be destroying healthy organs, tissues etc, when there is such a shortage. I'm not suggesting that we go against peoples wishes, but I do think that this is an issue that should be discussed between family members and doctors far more openly and maybe even a topic for later secondary aged school children to be taught about.
