Just bought a second hand car from 'reputable' franchise dealer (although a different make). Everything OK aside from there only being one set of keys - I did not know this until I had paid for and picked the car up. Dealer said keys may turn up and if they did he'd send them on, otherwise I'd have to buy some. Given the missing keys are the remote set, it will cost £100+.

As far as I am concerned I should not have to pay to replace the missing keys and they should be provided by the dealer. I am prepared to wait a couple of weeks to see if they do turn up, but think I ought to write now telling them I view it as their responsibilty and not mine to supply the keys.

Views please.

Thanks
