Extra phone sent

O2 have sent me an extra iPhone 4s due to their mistake. Essentially this happened due to delay on their part sending out my upgrade and then their poor systems. The additional phone was sent to my work address and signed for by my work's security. O2 have a record of it being signed for. I'm just wondering whether anybody else has experienced this and what happened. What is the legal position, and what do people think the moral position is?

Cheers

The legal (and moral) position is that you should notify them of their error, they then have to arrange to have the item collected, you are not obliged to send it back to them, if they do not collect it within a specified period (which from memory is 12 months but if someone could confirm that) then it's yours. If they do collect it, it needs to be in the same condition as when sent i.e. unused and in original packaging.
