Broken Recliner/Refund

Hi,

I purchased a recliner in July 2011 and one of the built in cushions have collasped. The shop does not have the same colour in stock and cannot replace it. They have offered a different colour but that would not match the remainder of my furniture. They have also offered a credit note but they have nothing I need. Can I not insist on a refund which they have refused so far?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I should think so, the law says, replacement, repair or refund, if they are unable to do anything else, I don't see how they can refuse a refund, at least partial, although they well may try.

If the chair was older they would possibly have more of an argument but given that it's only a few months old, you need to stick to your guns.
