Whenever I hear of things like this I always remember that stampede at the newly opened Ikea in London when people were injured in the rush to try and secure bargains... I always wonder as well whether it is the genuine consumer who benefits from these type of offers. I always think those who seem to spend the most on these days, are those who will then try and re-sell them on a bit later on ebay or suchlike...

And yes I am a cynic... ;-)
