Faulty sink - cost of re-installation?

Hi

I recently bought a new granite sink which has been installed (at my expense and by my plumber) in a new worktop.

The sink developed a crack within about a month and I contacted the company who did agree eventually to provide a new one.

They delivered the new one the other day but want to take the old one away. To give the sink back to them I will have to pay for a plumber to uninstall it and then pay for re-installation costs for the new one. Are the company liable to pay the costs for uninstalling and re-installation? I have looked at the T and Cs I got when buying the sink and it doesn't specify anything about this situation.

Thanks

Debtors retreat
Yes they are liable.

When goods are faulty, you should not be out of pocket by their return or replacement, although you paid for the sink to be fitted originally, you are not liable for any further costs.

Thanks very much.

They are trying to say the manufacturer will cover £60 of the costs but no more which does not cover a plumber.

If they won't replace at no cost to me am I entitled to ask for a refund?
