wrong rate applied to contract ??

I applied for a loan from the CO-OP at there advertised rates and have an email saying i have been accepted ( at no point the email says this rate may change ) however when the laon agrement arrived the rate and amount are difrent ) yes by a lot

they are calling me back on thursday after they have looked into it ? am i the first to be in this situation ?

can i hold the CO-OP to honer the loan i have applied for and have acceptence by email for ?

If the rate is in the email then yes, banks always, always say their rates might change somewhere inthe small print, be it on the website or loan application, I can guarantee it will be there somewhere, but if they have made you an firm offer at a certain rate you can hold them to it.
