On 29th of december 2011 a employee of avis rentacar left the keys
in a 08 plate vw passat at trident park middlesex.
The car was stolen from avis traveled from middlesex to derby
while being involved in police chase at 2am on 29 th december it was involved in a collison in stamford street derby it took eight steel bollards from outside natwest bank jump kerb out bank ended up knocking my garage down.
And writing off my car.
This accident should never of been able to come about
equity red star my insurance company have done everything they can not to payout my uninsured losses .
Avis i am told cant be held responsible even though it was there car and there employee who left keys in car.
Derby police officer had asked for permisson to pursue car but wasnt granted pemission .
As a result santander where first class and paid for garage to be rebuilt.
Equity red star have loaded my premiums told me they cant recover cost off avis or derbyshire police.
Also told iwill be peanalised next year no matter who i use for insurance .
My advice to all people who read this avoid doing insurance or any buisness with these cowboys happy to take money off customers and do nothing for it avoid at all cost if you have any sense many thanks tony
