Hi All, Recently had pistons and valves make love when the cambelt lost tenson. Lucky for me it was still in warranty, having be changed by a Dealer, about seven days before it was up. The dealer says now that they are not responable as they do not change the damper/tensoner when they change the cambelt,but do change the jocky wheel only. On my bill it clearly states that, and I quot: Stripped and replaced cambelt and tensoner and :-
There is no word to say wheel only on bill at all. They want want to charge me £10000 for a factory re-con full engine! I have now had to get it repaired at another place and pay out.
Ive had a go at the head office and it seems to me they are only repeating what the dealer said and are realy of no help.
Can anybody offer some advice on this, can I sue them through the courts?
