23rd August:

Dear Applicant

Thanks for your prompt response, It is Very Easy and Simple with No Application fees required : Here's how It works - The basic premise of the "paid to drive" concept seeks people - regular citizens, not professional drivers - to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with a big advert for us plastered on your car,it s a new Energy drink we are introducing to the market. The ads are typically vinyl decals, also known as "auto wraps," that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which will cover any portion of your car's exterior surface and can be easily removed without any traces on the car.

What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy? Lots of exposure and awareness. The auto wraps tend to be colorful and eye-catching and attract lots of attention. Plus, it's a form of advertising with a captive audience, meaning people who are stuck in traffic and can't avoid seeing the wrapped car alongside them. This program will last for 1 Year and the minimum period you can participate is 1 month.

You will be compensated with a £250(two hundred and fifty pounds per Week),which is essentially a "rental" payment for letting our company use the space. We shall provide Experts that would handle the advert placing on your car or the car we provide, if you have no car. You will receive an up front payment of £250 (two hundred and fifty pounds) inform of cheque for accepting to carry this advert on your the car and other weekly payments will also come in the form of cheque and delivered at your address weekly.

The following information below will be needed to proceed to work.

Full Name:
Age:
Occupation:
Detailed Address:
Postcode:
Mobile Phone:
Do you have a car?:Yes or No
Email Address:

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a car, we will provide a company car for you. and we do not need PO BOX, only detailed addresses please.

We shall be contacting you as soon as we receive these information to proceed,

Such a scheme exists, I looked into doing it myself but the finance company wouldn't permit it.

This does sound decidedly dodgy though, the car had to be yours, under 3 years old and driven at least 10 miles a day so to provide you with a car, tax, insurance and payment does seem a bit far fetched. I also don't think the money was anything like this offer.

Can't work out what the scam is tho' I suspect its gonna cost you something somewhere, just don't know where.

How did you get involved?

Well if you decide to bank the cheque, give plenty of time for it to clear before you even consider paying for any auto wrap coz that's the only way I can think you could be scammed, a bouncing or withdrawn cheque from a stolen cheque book!

Jesus! That's a good find Michael!
They didn't even bother correcting the spelling mistakes!

MetroMuppet, you can either opt to just ignore all further correspondence or alternatively take it further and ring the non-emergency police line for your area.

I've seeked some advice. I'm going to tell the bank tomorrow that I believe the cheque to be stolen.

If he is laundering stolen money i get nothing.
if he is laundering his own drug money i will be able to keep the full amount.
