Replacement kitchen doors

Hi everyone

I am looking for some advice in relation to my kitchen.

We have recently been contacted by our kitchen company to inform us that there has been a manufacturing fault with the cupboard doors discolouring and therefore they will be replaced.

The issue that we have is that the doors are being replaced with a higher spec door which is slightly whiter in colour to the old doors. When the kitchen was fitted it was matched up with pelmets etc based on the old white and not the new white therefore there is a slight difference in colour between the new door and the pelmets and cornices. However they are not the same as the product which has discoloured and therefore are not being replaced as a manufacturing fault.

My question is whether the manufacturer should have to replace the pelmets etc to the same spec as the doors given that it is through their error that the doors have to be replaced and they are not replacing like for like they are replacing with a whiter product.

Thanks in advance
