Hi guys

Not sure this is the right place for this thread, but I am looking to set up a SSAS for my business and want to look at doing it myself, without the need to usa an IFA etc.

I'm going through the TPR programme for Trustees and have been through all of the stuff on their site regarding setting up SIPPs etc. But there seems to be little or no information on setting up your own SSAS. I've read a few SSAS administrator sites that say you can set one up personally, but it's obviously not in their interest to tell you how.

Can anybody point me to somewhere that has more information?

Thanks

SSAS are usually used for businesses that require pension arrangements for more than one person. If it's just you, why do you want a SSAS instead of a Sipp?

Also SSAS's do require greater depth of administration and whilst advice from an IFA can be expensive it is worthwhile on the more techinical areas of pension planning.

I haven't started on my pension blogs as yet but i can make this my first?
