i bought a steam mop from ETS DIRECT GROUP through Amazon in July, I used it three times and it broke down and now won't switch on, I contacted the seller three times and Amazon also emailed them, they have not replied to any of the emails, this item was £79.99. surely under consumer law there must be some garantee.

Debtors retreat
If they are a company trading in the UK you are covere by the Sale of Goods Act.

Difficult if they refuse to reply to you, try sending them a Letter Before Action (put that as the subject) telling them they have 10 days to give you a satisfactory response before you submit a claim through the small claims court, that may work.
