Hi my girlfriend bought a dress from very.co.uk when the dress didn't arrive in time she phoned up to see where it was and they said they would make sure it got delievered. A few days later the dress arrived and all was good until at a later date she recieved an invoice for the dress even though she paid for it before it got delievered. They are now saying that she signed for the first dress and has to pay for two. After numerous phone calls and sending proof of her signature she seems to be getting fobbed of whilst having to pay minimum payments so she doesnt get bad credit. does anyone have any ideas how we could relsolve this matter

Don't pay it! even if it is recorded as a late payment on her credit file (which it may not coz it's costs them to do this) she can get it corrected once it's sorted.

They should have a complaints procedure, she needs to ask them what it is then go through it, if she still gets nowhere and they provide credit, she can go through the FOS to complain.

She needs to ask them for a copy of the signature for the dress, not the other way round, then she needs to threaten them with the small claims court, obviously she will be able to prove it's not her signature in a number of ways.
