Hi there,

I bought a new Vauxhall Corsa cdti 1.3 ecoflex from an official Vauxhall dealership nearly 4 years ago.

I've recently had an issue with the car being sluggish in the morning and there's a strange knocking noise in the engine area. I've taken it to back to the vauxhall garage to see what the problem is and how much it will cost.

Apparently the issue is due to the fuel injectors - 2 of which will need replacing at a total cost of £660.

Yes, the car is out of warranty and I'd expect things to start going wrong due to normal wear and tear... but does anyone know if this is normal for a diesel car that's only done 54000 miles?! I'm wondering if I can go down the 'sale of goods act' stating that it's not fit for purpose. I'd expect a new car to not need such extensive repairs after 4 years... or am I wrong?? The car has had 3 official vauxhall services and the last service was done by KwikFit.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
