Just a note to urge people to go directly to the source for certain things as they are definitely cheaper. My house has a coal fire for example. If I got to buy a bag of peat at Tesco or the local hardware store I pay £4.99 for a bag. My friend took me direct to the supplier last week- and I got one bag for £2.00 (same size, same company etc)
. They also had a notice up saying you could take a trailer and fill it with a tonne of peat for £50.00. I dread to think what that would cost me in the usual places- sometimes it definitely pays to shop around..........
