I purchased a Relyon pocket sprung mattress from my local furniture shop and it was delivered two days ago.
It is much firmer than the one I tried in the shop.
I went back to check their display one and it was much softer. I queried this with my original shop assistant who said that this was because their display is on a sprung divan and that she did tell me it would be a 'little' firmer on anything else. It is however much firmer.
She suggested me trying their display on the floor of the showroom and it was as firm as mine.
If I had known how much firmer the mattress would be I would have ordered the soft tension instead of the medium one I tried.
I have issues with the muscles and joints in my shoulders and this mattress so far is painful for me to sleep on.
Where do I stand on getting this replaced with the soft tension version?
A new bedstead with sprung slats will be delivered soon, but I doubt this will compensate enough for the firmness.
Thanks.
