faulty samsung galaxy s3 and orange

I upgraded in September I think it was and rang orange to order an iphone 5 I was advised of a long wait and recommended the galaxy as supposing better than the iphone anyway I said yes got my phone and a week later it broke on me wouldn't charge and had no signal I am now on phone no 4 and the same problem has happened again only this time I have declined another galaxy I have lost photos (important one's) paid for apps amongst being inconvenienced by it all. I have asked for either another phone any as long as like for like and inline with what im paying per month for my contract £35 or I send the phone back and they adjust my contract to a sim only one, I have phoned orange on many occasion's in the last two week and all I get is they carnt do anything I have to wait for a call from the top man (doesn't help me ) can anyone give me some advice as to my rights please
