We bought a new oven from comet that is just out of warranty. With a few days left on the warranty I contacted indesit help line as the oven loses heat, taking ages to warm up then struggling to keep at a temperature. I was told that this was due to wear and tear an engineer would cost £110 plus parts or I could take out an extended warranty. According to their 'help' line we were only covered for 28 days and from there any fault such as this was due to wear so we would be liable. Can anybody advise as to whether or not this is the case? Seems ridiculous if so. Thanks
