hi, don't know if this is the right place for me to post this but I can't find anywhere else to put it. I bought a 2 seater and a 3 seater sofa from a company on ebay last december but they wanted cash on delivery not paypal, so i went ahead and ordered it the sofas, they were delivered on time and after inspecting them paid, all was well until may of this year my husband noticed that the arms and the head rest were starting to break and split. We contacted the company straight away but got no reply, the sofa has got worse and we have emailed them quite a few times but as of yet we have not had a reply. Does any one knows where we could go for help please.(they did say there was no years guarantee on it but i thought we would be covered by the sales of goods act 1979).

If they are a business, it will be covered by SOGA but if they won't reply to you, your only option may be the Small Claims Court, I am assuming e-bay won't do anything?
