I think this is a great idea, it is really helpful to know which traders are aware of their responsibilities and fulfil them to the customer.

Thanks Jorumian, there is still lots to be done to get it working the way I want but it should be a great resource. My mother for example is afraid to shop online as she doesn't know which sites she can trust.

I have a mother and a mother in law in exactly the same boat and I think a list of common high street names who follow the laws and regulations regarding internet shopping and other consumer issues to the letter, will be hugely comforting to them.

I can see a lot of people using the list as a starting point to shop on the net and I think that is a good thing.

I'd like to see the list grow too with more retailers meeting the criteria to be included. I am sure over time that will happen.
