As prices plunge, the Mirror went to see what you could buy for £1.

According to the article, Asda has slashed the prices of 300 goods to £1, and in Morrisons apparently you can get a bag of King Edwards or oranges for £1. McDonalds is offering a 99p range.

Some magazines

If you go to magazine-group.co.uk/the-big-sale/5-pounds-or-less they've got some titles for a quid as well like Men's Health and Auto Express.

Not quite as nutritious as the king edwards, but they probably taste the same as the Macdonalds!
