put a deposit down on two sofas feb 2014 at sofa specialists
company failed to deliver
company has now relocated and changed their company name
lost deposit
paid by debit card
hsbc said they could help if could get a letter confirming failure to deliver/ or into administration, but failed to get either from them
now bank say its over amount of days to do anything and there is nothing they can do to help
what can I do

This is my worst nightmare when i comes to online ordering, and this is also why i only pay for online products with either credit card or paypal so my payment is protected.

A lot of craps these companies are doing. Last month I also lost my £275, when I ordered for a sofa and they said they did not receive that payment.
