Hi I am looking for some advice- I bought a horse trailer in November only to find out it is not roadworthy at all. The person I bought from was a private seller and refuses to take it back, I have rung trading standards and they say he does not have to take the trailer back. There was a recall on the front axel of the trailer which never got done- this is how I found out it was not even roadworthy as when I took it in for the replacement they found the a frame pulling away and the whole frame has twisted because the axel wasn't replaced- to fix all this it has to go back to the headquarters of the company which is in Yorkshire (miles away from me) and someone told me about the sales of goods act 1979- do I have a case with the manufacturer as the trailer in only 6 years old- turns 7 next year.

Any advice welcome Thanks :)
