We purchased a multi-fuel stove from a firm called Heating & Eating in 2014.
We thought we were buying a new stove having pointed to a stove in the showroom.

We were having issues with the stove in 2015 so we contacted the supplier to the retailer. The supplier BFM told us the stove was an ex-display model 2011 and carried no ten year guarantee. We contacted the retailer and asked for a replacement since he had fraudulently sold us an old stove but he refused to replace it, saying there was nothing wrong with it. There was nothing in his paperwork/invoice statement to say he was selling us an ex display model more than two years old. Clearly he bought the display stove in cheaply and passed it on to us as a new stove to make maximum profit.
What is the best course of action as his action appears as fraud?
