Knife Crime - Punishment

I have absolutely no sympathy with people who carry knives "for their own safety". This is a vicious circle and soon these same cowards will be carrying guns and we'll end up with a culture more like the US.

We need to be more robust with these criminals and not soft soap them by sending them to some sort of cosy offenders' institute where they get to go on holiday to Kenya so that they can re-integrate with society.

Publicly birch them in Trafalgar Square!
