Hi, new to this board, so hope someone can help.

We have had a new bathroom fitted but the fitter has walked out with just a little work left to do.

He obviously has personal issues and, after damaging the new bath, has said he feels unable to continue.

We have paid him almost the full amount already with only about £500 outstanding.

We have had to employ someone else to finish the work off and will have to pay for a new bath due to his bad workmanship.

He's apologised but says he can't give us a partial refund. What options do we have? Hope someone can help. Thanks.
