Hi Lori

Welcome anyway. It might be helpful (if you have time and are so inclined) to briefly describe the problem and how Amazon fixed it??

the item I purchased was a philips product the wake up light alarm, and it makes a constant buzzing sound, I contacted philips who stated that amazon had the responsiblity for the first 12 months warranty and that they should try to resolve the issues with the item, I sent a copy of this to amazon, they then responded by saying I could have an immediate replacement or a total refund for this item, and they would refund any postage costs for the return of the item, so I have opted for a refund, and am now satisfied with the outcome
