Criminals are sending out a phishing emails claiming to be from Cancer Research. The emails start off like this:
It's a sad fact that one in three people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. That's one in three mums, dads, grandparents, friends or colleagues.
At Cancer Research UK we all believe that beating cancer is possible. But we can't do it without the support of people like you.

This fake email has a link to a video which no doubt is really malware. There are different types of malware. It could be a keylogger that records your key strokes or it could be malware that gives the criminals control over your computer to send out more phishing attacks.

There is another link for donations. Don't click on any links!

If you put your mouse over the link and look in the lower left hand corner of your browser you will see where the link goes. It isn't going to to the real charity website which is www.cancer.org.uk.
