Just a quick reminder for anyone who wants to grow their own, but hasn't got the facilities, or doesn't want to grow from seed - this month is the best for getting seedlings from the garden centre. I used old courgette seeds this year and only got two to germinate - now slugs have eaten one, so I am off to the nursery this weekend - should still be cost effective!
