New Boiler

I am thinking of buying a new boiler. The one I have now is over 10 years old and has needed several repairs. How much (roughly) would a new boiler cost and how much to have it installed? Also can anybody recommend any good boiler makes/models, or are there any I should avoid?

In regard to energy efficency the general advice would be to go for a band A condensing combi with good heating controls linked to it ie programmer, room thermostat and TRVs on all of the radiators apart from the radiator in the same vicintity as the room thermostat.
