One of my complaints against some manufacturers is how spare parts are only sold as part of a kit or assembly.
I will never again buy a Fiat for that reason - possibly now no longer justified - that I had to buy a whole electric window motor assembly as my Fiat Uno had broken a small plastic clip holding the glass. The dealership said that the clips often broke, but the only option was to buy the whole assembly.
